New certificates for MoT Panels

Mot Panels always have ears open for our markets increasingly demands. Thus, despite the general trend for higher and higher fire resistance time on the products, MoT Panels are proud to present their new 30 minutes fire resistance certificate, covering this way the requirements for small and medium sized buildings. Recently, in the accredited certification laboratory FIRES in Slovakia the company has tested with success the performance of wall 60mm thick panel, RWs60, achieving the classification of EI30 according to EN1364-1. This classification does not stands only that the panels withstood the excessive fire burning for 30 minutes, but also that restrained the flames, withheld the structure integrity and limited the temperature from the exposed to fire side.
Construction safety against fire is neither hypothetical nor arbitrary imposition of fire protection regulations. Every year tenths of thousands square meters of industrial buildings are destroyed due to fire. The main reason for that is no other than the poor, if any, fire resistance of the construction elements that not only prevent the fire from developing and spreading but also in many cases fuel smoke and fire. The choice of the sandwich panels is one of the most critical elements when designing and building due to their big volume. Mineral wool panels with their excellent performance will not permit fire to expand and will not emit toxic gases-as even the best foam panel would do- and no matter what causes the fire they will definitely prevent it from growing up into a disastrous and unfortunately in many cases lethal incident.
