New interactive training centre for Daikin

Daikin opens a new interactive Training Centre, which serves as a schooling facility for business clients and as a showroom where customers can learn more about the outstanding variety and functionality of Daikin's product range.

In order to give a comprehensive overview of all key areas, a second showroom has now been opened. Also directly attached to the headquarter of Daikin Central Europe in Brunn am Gebirge, it covers an area of about 100 m² and gives information on the other two strategic product group pillars, namely Applied Systems and Refrigeration.

In the training courses provided by Daikin employees, visitors learn about the product novelties by testing them on their own. Thus, end customers and retailers are able to gain more knowledge about the latest Daikin systems of each key area.

Regarding Refrigeration, innovative systems such as the commercial condensing unit from J&E Hall are presented. In addition, visitors can look at the Conveni-Pack system, which integrates high and low temperature refrigeration and air conditioning, including heating, into one system. It is connected to three fully operating refrigeration wall cabinets and a two-door deep-freeze cabinet, including an additional booster compressor.

The centrepiece of the new showroom on the first floor is a fully operational 5.000 m³/h Air Handling Unit from Daikin's newest factory for Air Handling Units in Milan. It includes a direct expansion refrigerant heat exchanger, served by a Daikin VRV III heat pump unit to provide heating or cooling.

One of the recently launched Daikin Altherma High Temperature (Air to Water) Heat Pumps, which supplies up to 80°C hot water for heating purposes, is connected to an additional heat exchanger in the Air Handling Unit.

The new Training Centre also confirms Daikin as a total solution supplier, spanning multiple pillars of its product ranges. An example of that is the connection of the renowned Daikin VRV direct expansion system together with the above-mentioned Air Handling Unit, demonstrating the possibility to satisfy all the air conditioning needs of a building including fresh air treatment using a single highly efficient system.

The Training Centre provides the possibility to demonstrate this flexibility, as well as to fully train service technicians on the respective specifics. As such, the new Daikin Central Europe Training Centre is unsurpassed throughout Europe.

In the larger showroom, which is situated on the second floor of the Training Centre, you can learn not only about Daikin's pillar Air Conditioning but also gain information on the subject of Heating.

One of the highlights in this area is the Daikin Altherma High Temperature (HT) air-to-water heat pump, which represents a perfect solution for refurbishment projects. Daikin Altherma HT offers leaving water temperatures up to 80°C, therefore existing radiators may remain and apart from the heat pump no additional investments are necessary.

Next to the Daikin Altherma HT also the already well-known Daikin Altherma LT (low temperature) is installed in two capacity versions, including hot water tanks. They are fully operational - for heating as well as cooling.

All products in the training centre are fully operational, allowing "real life" operation and troubleshooting for most effective trainings "on the machine".
