Turkey’s and Region’s Biggest Building Materials & Technologies Exhibition

YAPI – TURKEYBUILD Istanbul and Building World’s Green Gathering EKOWorld Fair will take place in Istanbul between April 27th and May 1st 2011. YAPI – TURKYBUILD will once again be the gathering point for global business people from all around the world. Following recent strategic partnership agreements that were signed between YAPI - TURKEYBUILD and world’s leading exhibition organizers, YAPI – TURKEYBUILD keeps building up its reputation. To live up to Turkish Building Industry’s growing expectations, YAPI – TURKEYBUILD comes up with two special events for this year’s Istanbul Exhibition: Guest Country Russia project and EKOWorld Exhibition. Being Organized by Yapi-Endüstri Merkezi for the 34th time this year at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre between April 27th and May 1st, YAPI – TURKEYBUILD Istanbul will be held on an area of 81 000 square meters hosting more than 1100 exhibitors and 110 000 visitors. The exhibition is dubbed “the biggest and most prominent event that covers a wide region from former CIS countries and Balkans to Middle East and North Africa”.

Guest Country Russia Project: The First Guest Country Project of YAPI – TURKEYBUILD’s Business Development Platform will host Russian Federation this year. The idea behind this special project is to create synergies between Russian and Turkish Building Industries by providing a common platform to increase the trade volume of building materials, contracting projects and foreign direct investments through Joint-Ventures in both Russia and Turkey. The platform has, thus far, brought together several Russian and Turkish investors, professionals and entrepreneurs through a series of conferences throughout which investment experiences, success stories, research studies and sector-specific projections were shared with representatives of the Turkish Building Industry. To get more information about recent achievements and become a part of this initiative, visitors will be able to visit the Guest Country Russia Platform during YAPI - TURKEYBUILD between April 27th and May 1st.

EKOWorld Fair debuts this year in Hall 11A and will promote environment-friendly buildings, building materials, technologies, alternative energy and climate systems. Not only environment-friendly applications of innovative materials and solutions will be shared through special on-site events but also information sessions will be held by NGO’s, green leaders and manufacturers of green building materials in an effort to create local awareness and emphasize the importance of sustainability to build a better future.
