At the SAIE 2007, The PM GROUP fills up on innovations

The PM Group from San Cesario sul Panaro (Modena), a company that is active in the planning and production sector for equipment and instruments used in lifting materials and people, will be present at the SAIE 2007 with numerous product innovations. The spotlights are on the PM Business Unit (hydraulic cranes for trucks), which announces the new versions of the Classic line, with the 10, 14, 16 and 19P series enriched with the PM Power Tronic Compact system. In the exhibition area will be present the 35.5SP model from the Platinum line, the new Daily Iveco 4X4 equipped with a PM crane and, as far as accessories are concerned, the J510 and J710 jibs. The Oil&Steel Business Unit (truck-mounted and tracked platforms for aerial work) is present at the Bologna exhibition with a prestigious display, including the Octopussy 21 tracked platform, and the Scorpion 2012 light truck-mounted platform. The Business unit Pilosio announces the modular tribune MP for show business with bench or seats (very versatile and security solution), the T34/1300 modular arc coverage for the show business and the scaffolding SE.

PM announces the new versions of the 10, 14, 16 and 19P models form the Classic line equipped with the Power Tronic Compact system, derived from the Power Tronic system installed on models with greater capacities, which electronically controls the boom and also allows to control all the crane functions through the high speed transmission of data. Due to this solution, an increase in lifting capacity and a sensibility in manoeuvres is obtained, therefore, improving machine performance. The Power Tronic Compact system, already present on other models of the
PM range, allows to constantly monitor the movements and conditions of the crane and, thanks to the CAN-BUS system, makes transmitting data even more rapid.

The new 35.5SP crane represents a solution with a truly noteworthy overall weight and load capacity ratio. Very versatile and functional, this model can be equipped with new electronically controlled winches that are more compact than mechanical winches. Their reliability allows to increase load capacity, without the need to carry out any downgrading of the booms. Very compact (2.485 millimetres in height and 1.240 millimetres in depth), the 35.5SP is equipped with a 360° infinite rotation, which guarantees for extreme freedom in movement.

The new Daily Iveco 4X4 (light truck specifically used in the construction sector) equipped with a PM 3523 can also be found in the PM stand. This crane perfectly adapts to the vehicle, in order to improve its performance and its adaptability.
In addition, the PM will also present its new J510 and J710 jibs, which makes it possible to obtain improved performance from cranes without affecting overall dimensions. Thanks to these accessories, the PM cranes can, in fact, reach a negative extra extension of 20°, compensating for the normal flexion of material caused by the weight of the load.

The Oil&Steel Business Unit of the PM Group presents the Octopussy 21 tracked platform that, due to a double pantograph boom, can exceed obstacles and extend up to a height of 10.5 meters. This allows to noticeably reduce working times. Characterized by a load capacity of 200 kilograms on the basket, the Octopussy 21 can work up to 21 meters in height with a lateral extension of 9 meters. Furthermore, the new Octopussy 2190 is equipped with a wired remote control that facilitates stabilising and loading procedures for platforms with ramps on trucks.

At SAIE 2007 there is also the Scorpion 2012 - a light tracked aerial platform that, due to the use of a telescopic working boom, represents the ideal solution for working at specific heights (up to 20 meters with two operators), and with a wide lateral extension (up to 12 meters). The Scorpion 2012 is an optimal solution for maintenance interventions on streetlights and overpasses.

Pilosio introduces the modular tribune MP for fixed position guarantees a great versatility of use in the full respect of the current norm especially about security. It's a very polyvalent solution and it's able to satisfy the specific requests of the customers about the length and the height.
