PM and OIL&STEEL GROUP win huge order to ENEL for over 1000 lorry loader and powered access solutions

PM Group prepare to deliver the first stage of the order for ENEL, the first part of an order for over 1,000 vehicles for ENEL, the ‘number one’ Italian Electric Energy Company. The Substantial order includes Supply of 401 PM20.5 cranes In LC versions on IVECO’s, 22 Oil&Steel’s truck mounted access platforms on IVECO and 574, Oil&Steel truck mounted access platforms installed on Mercedes. Together with this extraordinary order, another 8 PM19P cranes and 25 truck mounted platforms Oil&Steel to be used by ENEL Rumania. To understand the exact size of the order: when the vehicles are lined up fully equipped with the PM and Oil&Steel products they cover 7 kilometres. "The IVECO models - declares Luigi Fucili, Managing Director of PM Group S.p.A. - equipped with the solutions of PM Group are 4WD, chosen on purpose by ENEL to guarantee the maximum mobility and to be able to use the cranes to their maximum capability and the aerial platforms in every situation and place". The hydraulic cranes PM 20.5LC series, mounted on IVECO Euro cargo 140E25W, offer a maximum horizontal hydraulic outreach of over 10 metres and a vertical of over 14 metres. The aerial platforms Snake 2190 from Oil&Steel installed on IVECO Euro cargo 100E18WS reach a maximum horizontal hydraulic outreach of 9 metres and a vertical of 21 metres, while on Mercedes Sprinter 311 CDIs it has been placed Scorpion 18E, specifically developed from Oil&Steel for the ENEL needs.

For another important project, ENEL has again chosen PM Group for equipped trucks to be used in Rumania. Following the acquisition of the majority of Distributie Banat and Distributie Dobrogea, two of the biggest Rumanian Electric Enterprises, ENEL has in fact reached an agreement with PM Group S.p.A. for the supply of 8 cranes PM 19P to be mounted on IVECO Eurocargo and 25 Oil&Steel truck mounted access platforms Scorpion 1490 on Nissan Cabstar.
