Haver & Boecker eccentric screening systems
21.03.2016
Haver & Boecker designs, builds, delivers and services complete plants, special machines and plant components for mineral processing plants. For over 100 years the name Haver & Boecker has been a synonym for extensive expertise and functionally robust and economical screening technology.
The eccentric screening technology has been continuously developed at Haver & Boecker worldwide subsidiaries and thus has secured its international market leadership.
Today the Haver & Boecker product range includes three different eccentric screening machines that can be used - depending on the case at hand. With the Tyler F-CLASS the complete drive train is traditionally buffered. The proven NIAGARA® eccentric screen uses an operational buffer system between the screen box and support frame. The third drive system, developed in 2010, is the HAVER F-CLASS. It combines the advantages of the other two systems. The floating external bearings embedded in rubber effectively absorb shock forces from the eccentric drive shaft.
In all industrial countries globally, HAVER eccentric screens are in operation as primary scalpers or for classifying coarse and difficult-to-screen material at high feed rates or with intermittently charged feeding.
Typical applications include ore, hardstone and limestone processing. Applications also include situations where uneven feeding of sticky and/or heavily soiled material needs to be classified. In many sectors the requirement of reducing dynamic loading to a minimum is successfully fulfilled by the F-CLASS eccentric screen.
The heart of all three above-mentioned systems is the proven eccentric drive. The drive system generates a steady, load-independent orbital vibration movement of the screen box under all conditions. The high performance element of the vibration motion is the 4-bearing-supported shaft whose eccentric part bears the screen unit. This arrangement assures a
continuously steady vibration orbit and thus a constant material acceleration, which in turn ensures clog-free screening. The mass balancing mechanism provides for perfect screen operational smoothness.
Haver & Boecker stands for expertise and top performance. Modernization and performance improvement of "aged" systems is at the focus of the product line segment of NIAGARA® primary scalpers. Also at the focus are planning, delivery, installation and support of new plants. Included are object specific works and crushing systems.
The product range segment of "secondary classification systems" starts with the conceptualization of the entire conveying and screening technology - from material feeding and spanning over screening and the distribution to subsequent machines and systems. In these areas TYLER and HAVER F-CLASS are operating successfully.
In this special area it goes without saying that the Haver & Boecker experts go into action also for installation and/or switching and control systems, as well as for process control technology and energy supply.
