SAIE 2007: The IMER Group gives priority to the requirements of sites

The IMER Group of Poggibonsi is presenting at SAIE 2007 the latest product lines designed for the construction market.

At the Italian Group's display area (Outdoor Area 48 - Stand E/27-F/26), the Concrete Machinery Division is showcasing its line of truck mixers with belt conveyors, which are solutions capable of distributing the materials contained in the mixers extremely easily and promptly, besides showing the range of mobile plants and the iMix model with scraping arm.
On the other hand, the Construction Machinery Division and the Mortar Spraying and Conveying Machinery Division have decided to launch the new line of felting machines and grinders (specialised machines for treating surfaces, finishing and grinding plasters, gypsum boards and floors) and present the new vibro-compacting machine models of the compacting line, in addition to displaying all the spearhead models of their production.

The new range of truck mixers are distinguished by their extremely versatile use on sites, because it is possible to distribute the material contained in the mixer in the point required very simply and effectively. The truck mixers with belt conveyors can be used for making foundations and small floors, but also concrete pillars and for road works. It is indeed a plant that has flexibility as one of its mainstays as it can warrant outstanding results with limited costs. The range comprises the LT 1200 models, the telescopic LT1500 and the telescopic LT1600. The advantage of the telescopic versions consists in the fact that the concrete can be laid in the area included in the extension with no need to move the actual plant.

The IMER Group's truck mixers with belt conveyors are operated by a hydraulic drive and, in the vertical position, they can turn around their own axis through 280 degrees. This allows very easy positioning and manoeuvrability on rough ground, while the vehicle remains still in the area in which it is positioned.

The line of truck mixers with belt conveyors made by the Group's Concrete Machinery Division also has the quick LIFT ON - LIFT OFF system (IMER Group patent), a very simple and reliable solution for removing and separating the belt from the vehicle chassis. The release operation is fully hydraulic. Once the circuit has been closed through insulating joints to prevent oil from coming out, the belt is separated from the machine through quick couplings. The supply of special supports also makes it possible to protect the belt from any knocks on the site. At SAIE 2007, the Imer Group is also showcasing its range of mobile plants and the iMix 750 model with scraping arm.

The new range of felting machines and grinders is the result of the exclusive collaboration of the Tuscany Group with the German company Rokamat. The products of this new line can be used for effectively treating of vertical surfaces and ceilings, finishing and grinding of plasters and gypsum boards, offering users huge advantages in terms of light weight and user-friendliness. In fact, the water felting machine can be used to finish plaster and conventional mortar in a very convenient way, because the operator can work with a much lower weight (2.5 kilograms). This advantage is granted by the splitting of the felting unit from the motor unit, which can be rested on the floor (working up to a distance of 4 metres) or carried on the shoulders using a convenient backpack system. This line also includes universal grinders with double disk (for planing and scraping plasters, cutting and grinding gypsum boards, rock wool panels and polystyrene, in addition to sanding and removing paints and coatings), telescopic grinders (for working on gypsum boards and sanding walls, ceilings and floors) and backpack vacuum cleaners (6.5 kilograms in weight).

At SAIE 2007 for the compacting line the Tuscany Group is showing the new tamping rammers' models MTX60 and MTX70. These models warrant an outstanding combination of reliability, stability and simplicity in use. In particular, the handle bar is fitted with an HAV device, which considerably reduces the vibrations transmitted to the operator during use of the machine. A handle on the rear part of the foot facilitates machine handling, as it forms a second lifting point in addition to the handle bar. The outstanding stability of these vibro-compacting machines increases their efficiency and reduces operator effort. Fitted with a Honda GX 100 or Robin motor with a fuel tank capacity of 3 litres, the MTX models represent a perfect blend of strength and care to operator requirements.
