Weber starts the construction of a new plant in BulgariaThe minister of regional development Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, the governor of Varna Mr. Dancho Simeonov and the General Manager of Weber Bulgaria Mrs. Snejana Semova turned the first sod on of the second factory of the Weber located near the city of Varna.
Just one year after inauguration of their new plant near Sofia, Weber Bulgaria demonstrate sustainable development investing in second production unit. The consecutive investment, despite the financial crisis that affect mostly the construction sector, comes after Weber build a similar plant in Kostinbrod for BGN 10 mln.
The new Weber plant for dry mortars will be located in the municipality of Aksakovo near the village Izvorsko. The factory will be built on 22 decare and construction process is expected to last one year.
"We are convinced that construction market in Bulgaria will recover in the coming years and the demand for high quality products and complete system solutions will grow. That’s why we are preparing for the forthcoming market needs in order to provide our customers with value-added products and services. We are pleased that despite adverse economic conditions in the country we will provide over 20 new work places after opening our second plant," Snejana Semova, General Manager of Weber, said.
The modern production technologies, used in the manufacturing process, are entirely a "green", do not include water and all waste materials are 100% recycled. The plant will have annual production capacity of 50 000 tonnes of dry mortars. 27/04/2010 |
