New range of ride-on trowels from Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco Construction Tools is launching a new range of three ride-on trowels for concrete floor specialists and rental companies. Their robust design, smooth operation and very good balance ensure top class concrete surfaces.
The new machines are fully mechanical with two sizes to choose from: the 1 880 mm BG740 and the 2 336 mm BG910. Both trowels are equipped with reliable engines and heavy duty drive trains, all built into a service-friendly frame. The BG740 is equipped with four blades per rotor. A torque converter allows the machine to move quickly on the concrete and sustain the same torque, thus saving energy. The BG910 has larger rotor diameters and is equipped with five blades per rotor providing a more accurate surface in a shorter working time.
For big jobs and high demands, the range is rounded off by the hydrostatic BG920. Its reliability, power and responsiveness are much appreciated features among larger contractors. Robust design, a Kubota diesel engine and a heavy duty gearbox contribute to a long lifetime and high performance. Hydraulic steering provides better handling control and the mechanical drive is easy to maintain. The BG 920 is also equipped with five blades per rotor for a more accurate surface in a shorter working time.
Features: Electrically powered water spray system and independent manual pitch control; Free line of sight from the cockpit, providing excellent visibility. For working in poor light conditions all ride-on trowels are equipped with lights; Well proven engine, heavy duty gearbox and robust overall design increase reliability and lifetime; Lifting bridle for loading and unloading; Adjustable seat and arm rests, raised foot paddles and a 12 V charger; Removable front panel for easy maintenance; A range of accessories is available, including discs, finishing and combination blades.
The ride-on trowels will be available from July 2012.
