714 MW RAIL-ROAD: GUARANTEED BY SNCF CERTIFICATION
The 714 MW rail/road meets SNCF approval criteria (accorded on July 27th, 2005) in France and is capable, after customization, of complying with regula-tions applicable in other EEC countries. Additional studies are in progress to adapt this machine to the needs and standards imposed in other European coun-tries such as Germany, Holland, England and Italy. In Germany, for example, this type of machine must be available with a double cabin.
714 MW RAIL/ROAD: PERFECTLY ADAPTED TO RAILWAY APPLICATIONS
The 714 MW rail/road is equipped with two lorries functioning independently. They are fastened directly to the front and rear ends of the chassis and replace the traditional stabilizer and blade systems of the 714MW road model. Each lorry is equipped with a direct drum brake acting on both wheels of the same axle. This automatic braking system holds the machine still at any time, either when stopping or during work.
