SENNEBOGEN Premiere at INTERMAT 2009

New SENNEBOGEN 690 HD crawler crane for special-purpose civil engineering

In collaboration with its French sales partner SYGMAT, SENNEBOGEN is going to present its new SENNEBOGEN 690 HD crawler crane for the first time at this year's Intermat (from 20 to 25 April). With a lifting capacity of 90 t and a strong motor, the SENNEBOGEN 690 is flexible and powerful and first choice for any use in special civil engineering, mining, demolition or materials handling. Over 50 years experience in the construction and production of crawler cranes stand for uncompromising reliability, robustness and availability. SENNEBOGEN has convinced in various branches around the world for decades. The new SENNEBOGEN 690 HD has been designed for demanding applications with mechanical and heavy hydraulic diaphragm wall grabs, tubbing case machine, vibrator, drag line, grab and load hook.

The 690 fully meets the high requirements to a process machine. A very large hydraulic cooler, an 880 litre hydraulic tank and a 1000 litre fuel tank guarantee continuous high performance and reduce idle times. Its state-of-the-art motor generation with powerful 291 kW or 447 kW ensures the required drive and important capacity reserves. Its extremely powerful and modern 4-circuit hydraulic system with optional extra packages allows for flexible adjustment to custom configurations and almost any attachment. Optionally, perfectly arranged 16 t, 20 t, or 25 t winches are available and provide the required power for heavy duty uses. Its mechanical winch synchronisation ensures absolute synchronous running of the winches and thus long-term gentle use for maximum availability. Optionally available extra winches on the upper carriage and in the lower boom section round up the possibilities of custom specification. Thanks to its line speed of 115 m/min (the highest on the market) the SENNEBOGEN 690 HD ensures maximum handling and conveying capacities, which underline the efficiency of the machine. In addition, the 60 t load hook is the strongest standard load suspension equipment in its class.

The required stability is ensured by the largest contact area of 5,000 mm in width and 5,440 mm in length. Two strong swing gears stand for high swing torque and thus for precise and reliable movement. For frequent swinging the optional rotary swing brake allow for accurate and effective working. Avoiding unnecessary over-engineering and electronics ensure comprehensible and reliable technology that is easily accessible, clear and service-friendly.

The new maXcab comfort cabin offers the SENNEBOGEN 690 operator maximum ergonomics and an excellent all-round view. Its comfortable entry through the sliding door, the air-sprung comfort seat, the automatic air conditioning or the innovative room concept are just a few examples that stand for relaxed and secure working.
The SENNEBOGEN 643 telescopic crane will also be presented to the professional audience at the Intermat 2009. It convinces with a boom length of 30 metres and load capacity of 40 tons and is a strong, universally usable partner for all purposes. Its robust design and powerful 135 kW diesel engine represent high performance and flexibility in practice combined with extremely low operating cost.

Another highlight at Intermat 2009 is the new 830 R-HDD Demolition-Multifunctions machine, designed for extreme demolition and material handling demands. This Machine sets new demolition standards with its numerous technical innovations. Thanks to the work height of up to 17 m bolt measure combined with 3 tons lifting capacity heavy demolition tools can be handled easily and safe in long reaches.

Apart from the strong boom system the special demolition equipment of the 830 also includes the heavy-duty undercarriage. For excellent stability the undercarriage can be hydraulically extended from 3 m to 4.5 m. The 360° revolvable upper structure with positioning brake, a special pipeline protection on the jib and piston rod protection on the ULM cylinder are further equipment characteristics of the special SENNEBOGEN 830 R-HDD.

Another standard feature, which is unique on the market, is the tiltable maXcab comfort cabin, which can be raised to 4 m - for safe working and a perfect overview. Apart from its safety, its efficiency and versatility in practice are the machine's key advantages. The SENNEBOGEN 830 D Series can be very quickly equipped with a grab or dipper shovel and used as a fully functioning material handling machine, which is a very important aspect regarding efficiency and utilization.
